Roederer Estate L'Ermitage Brut Rosé 2019

L’Ermitage, Roederer Estate’s special tête de cuvée, is a supremely Californian sparkling wine made only in exceptional years from all estate-grown grapes. Roederer Estate produces its sparkling wines in the traditional French method and adds special oak-aged reserve wines to each blend.

Vintage 2019 features cooked peach and baked pastry crust aromatics. This wine’s plush, soft entry and creamy brightness enrobe the texture of the Pinot Noir.

"Roederer bought into the Anderson Valley in 1982 before the AVA was established in 1983, and their long commitment has resulted in fundamental knowledge of the growing seasons and terroir. This wine is made with a small percentage of red Pinot Noir, with over 620 acres of vines. There's a smoky tone of blood orange and piquant notes of mint and green tea leaves. The palate shows raspberry leaf herbals with toasted almond skin and toasted pastry cream. Released in the fall of 2024, disgorged November of 2023. This wine shows more concentration and phenolics."
