Pale golden color, showing aromas of toasted bread crust, pear and lime. On the palate, creamy and soft texture is well defined with apricot, tangerine and marzipan. Finish is wrapped and long, coating the palate with a mouth-watering acidity.

The 2019 Chardonnay Walraven Vineyard has a nose of baked apples and quince, pie crust, crème fraîche and sour lemon with a stony undercurrent. The medium-bodied palate is intense and textural, with savory, toasty fruits and a long, sapid finish. This may benefit from another year or two in bottle.
